Carbon Fiber Testing Line
 
       Carbon fiber is a fibrous polymer material with a carbon content of over 90%. It is known as the "King of New Materials" and possesses characteristics such as high temperature resistance, anti-friction, heat conductivity, and corrosion resistance. Its diameter is only 5 micrometers, which is equivalent to one-tenth to one-twelfth of a hair strand. Its strength is more than four times that of aluminum alloy. It has a fibrous shape, is soft, and can be processed into various fabrics. The main application of carbon fiber is as an reinforcing material combined with resins, metals, ceramics, and carbon to manufacture advanced composite materials. Carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites have the highest specific strength and specific modulus among existing engineering materials.
High-Strength Carbon Fiber Making Machine
      According to the classification of production raw materials, carbon fibers can be divided into asphalt-based carbon fibers, viscose-based carbon fibers and polyacrylonitrile (PAN) based carbon fibers.

Polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fibers: The production process is relatively simple, the raw material sources are abundant, and they possess excellent structural and functional properties. The global market share exceeds 90%, making them the type of carbon fibers with the highest production volume and the most extensive applications currently. 

Vinyl acetate-based carbon fibers were one of the earliest industrialized production routes and have now largely been phased out. 

Compared with asphalt-based carbon fibers, PAN-based fibers have higher tensile strength, are better at withstanding loads, and are more flexible in shaping, making them suitable for complex components. According to the classification of production raw materials, carbon fibers can be divided into asphalt-based carbon fibers, viscose-based carbon fibers and polyacrylonitrile (PAN) carbon fibers.
